Jeep® Grand Cherokee comes equipped with advanced, multi-stage driver and front-passenger airbags as well as side-curtain airbags. Standard front crumple zones and integral side guard door beams help dissipate energy from impact before it reaches occupants.
Driver assist systems alert and aid you in challenging driving situations. Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop are just two of several available systems.
The standard ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera and ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System warn you of hidden objects when parking or backing out.
Even alert drivers appreciate a heads up. Approach another object too rapidly and you’ll get an audible and visual warning. The Forward Collision Warning Plus with Crash Mitigation system will also engage the brakes if necessary. Adaptive Cruise Control automatically adjusts cruising speed to maintain a preset distance between you and other traffic.
The available Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) system employs dual radar sensors to check your blind spots, constantly monitoring the space between your Jeep® Grand Cherokee and other vehicles. When the BSM system detects a vehicle that's too close, you’ll hear a chime and see illuminated icons in the side mirrors.

The ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera with the ParkSense® Front and Rear Park Assist System help you park and reverse with ease. A rear view on-screen image with dynamic grid lines guide you when you shift into reverse. These systems reveal any hidden obstacles and give you ample audible warnings so you have time to react.
A network of sensors provides instant assistance if your vehicle veers from its intended path. Electronic Stability Control coordinates Electronic Roll Mitigation, the Antilock Brake System, Brake Assist, All-Speed Traction Control and available Trailer Sway Control+ and puts them all to work when the system senses the wheels slipping.
