Set it and forget it. Select AUTO mode Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) with air filtration, and experience tailor-made temperature. In automatic mode, any incoming air is dehumidified for added comfort. This also helps reduce the potential for condensation to build up on the windshield and side windows.

What makes it tick? An infrared sensing device automatically checks the temperature of the vehicle interior, including the occupants. A microprocessor in Cherokee’s control unit makes decisions based on vehicle speed, engine speed, engine coolant temperature and ambient temperature. Easiest thing — just set it to AUTO and enjoy.
